Thought for the Week

Posted on May 23, 2010 under Thoughts for the Week.

“Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.”

“There is no shortcut to excellence. You will have to make the commitment to make excellence your priority. Use your talents, abilities, and skills in the best way possible and get ahead of others by giving that little extra.

Live by a higher standard and pay attention to the details that really do make the difference.  Excellence is not difficult – simply decide right now to give it your best shot – and you will be amazed with what life gives you back.”     – Steve Jobs

  • Final Thoughts

Thanks for being here and remember to rediscover the power of two almost forgotten skills  –  1) pick up the phone and talk to a live person 2)  read about current events; it  will enable  you to participate in almost  any conversation  — try the Sunday NY TIMES ($6 at Starbuck’s).   Have a great week and go out and sell something.
